Distinction
I get my certificate for my TEFl course soon and I graduated with "Distinction." I thought that sounded very nice..."Distinction." It means that I got an A in the class. I must say that I was very excited because I didn't study for any exams or for the quizzes. I figured all I needed was a 70% to pass so I didn't see the point in studying very hard to get an A. So now I am a teacher with "Distinction." Doesn't that sound nice?
So I will possibly be going to a Monk graduation ceremony in Bangkok. My students from last year invited me to go to their graduation. In thailand, the students graduate and then a year later they have their ceremony. Monks have to work for a year before they can receive their diplomas. So I thought if I have the money I will go because its not like I can ever see something like that in America. So I'll try to keep you updated.
My friend had a puppy follow her home so now it has a name, leash, and food and she is going to see if she can take it home. Its only a few months old so we are going to fill out the paper work and call the airport and see if its possible. If it is possible then my friend will tell her mom.
We thought it was a good idea to wait. If we don't wait her mom could say no.
