Forgive me

So I want to apologize for not updating everyone recently. We have been in the Karen village without internet access or phones and I did not have time write before we left to notify everyone that I could not keep you updated. So here's some news...

We were in thevillage for about 20 days and I only collected four stories but I also taught English and learned how to cook Karen food. We can never make any of the things I learned there at home because we don't have canned mackeral in tomato sauce and I can't remember everything since they seem to always add a little bit of this and a little bit of that without any sort of distinct recipe.

I moved into my apartment today and we played songkran again. tomorrow we will ride around on the back of the big truck, get soaked, sunburnt, and basically have a good time. I'm excited. I start my class April 20 and wil be teaching again in May.

I got all A's and finished my class schedule which was excellent. I think I have a place to live in the fall but I am stil not so sure. I'll be checking that tomorrow.

Overall everything has been going very well, my knee hasn't been hurting and surprise surprise my baby sister is buying a car...a jeep to be exact go figure.

I'll try to keep everything more updated now. I may even be able to find a short term tutoting job for May and June while I am here. Things are looking up.
