Monk Chat

Well I've been working alot at the BUddhist University lately. Its excellent to see the other students get to know each other. I've become like the group leader and teaching assistant but its not so bad. They help m,e speak Thai and write in Thai. Yes I am learning to write in Thai...its like this weird swirly alphabet but its fun to say because all the letters are related to some sort of object and they all have the same vowel sound. For example Gaw Guy means chicken and its also the letter for anything with a g sound. Its pretty much awesome and I'll probably never be a great reader but its good for now.

Apparently this Natalie look alit think is a big deal because all this week monks and normal people have been telling me that I look like her. They all ask "DO you know Natalie?" And all I can do is laugh....we really don't look alike at all except we both a pale with dark hair.

We have miss flower blooms this weekend. I'm totally avoiding but when the students ask me how it is I always say "alot of the students had a blast" I don't want to cruch their hopes with how much I hated it...

Anyways I started tennis today which was awesome. I basically going to be the next pro so watch out! Haha actually I stink but I'll get there eventually. Tonight my friend and I are going out to dinner with some of the Thai students which should be fun.

Oh yea, so I can totally eat way more spicy food but today I bit into a pepper which I thought was a string bean and I couldn't inhale or stop my eyes from watering. It was funny to because I looked like a crying fish out of water who couldn't breathe. I loved it but I don't think I'll make a habit of eating those peppers...
