Our Secret Mission

Where to start...at Teaticket every year Shauna and I do this sort of chilish thing where we take the paddle boat out, steer to the nearest boat in the harbor, and Shauna's climbs on the back, we lauch and paddle away. We can basically do this for a few hours and find it funny as well as adventurous every time.

So this year we decided to document our travels and label it "secret" for effect. We got in th epaddle boat and headed out. It was really windy that day so we moved a little slower but no biggie. We get out to our first boat and i've got the camera. Shauna gets on, smiles, I take a picture to document it, and then paddle the get-away boat as fast as I can.

So far so good. So the second boat we go up to Shauna gets on, I get the camera out to take the picture, Shauna gets left on the boat and the get-away boat gets blown away actually. So I'm laughing because here she is left on this boat that is also blowing around due to the wind and a larger and larger gap keeps growing between us.

I try to paddle back but it took me forever because of the wind and now there was the weight and paddling strength of only one person. Let me just say to see Shauna stranded on someone else's boat, hiding no less, with me coming slowly to the rescue and people watching from the beach was pretty darn funny.

We only got two boats and then decided that there were too mnay witnesses. When Shauna comes home I'll document the whole story with pictures..Yeah!
