Oh the Irish Kings

So one of the parties that we catered was called the Kings. Apparently there is a group of men who can trace their Irish heritage back to the days of ancient kings and who once a year come together, drink for 12-9, play poker, eat alot, smoke their final cigar together and leave.

They were loud and smelled of cigar smoke and there were about 290 of them. I got asked out on dates by men in their 50's which isn't old in the scheme of life but to a 20 year old, that could be my dad. One girl got tips for looking Irish. All I could think was "Hello Kennedy here can't get much more Irish than that."

It was interesting anyways. Now I am getting in contact with a company called Hay group in Boston to do an internship for the rest of the summer. My friend Elizabeth works there so she got me an e-mail address, I sent my resume, and they're interested. Its good to have connections.
