The lady who flashed the monk

So this past night myself and opther students who work at the Buddhist university went on a meditation retreat with them. WHile we were there we practice basic forms of meditation and sleep there, get up early the next day and meditate some more. Its really a lot of fun and a very interesting expereince even though we were exhausted because I shared a room with two of my friends so it was sort of like a sleep over except that we had to wake up at 4:50 am.

Well anyways its early Wednesday morning and they invite a lady from Australia in our group to do some Yoga stretches to wake us up. Every is wearing a loose white shirt and elephant pants that the center gave us so we all look like we're in a mental hospital and most of the tourists have no idea how to tie the pants. They have a tendency to fall off if you're not careful.

So this lady gets up in front and we go through the stretches (which I loved) and we were almost finished when one of the monks pointed at her pants. They were hanging very loosely in the front which usually means they've mostly fallen down but are somehow still attached to your body. So instead of politely retying her pnats before anyone saw her underwear, she had to look. She lifts up the long shirt that was covering her underwear and totally front loaded the monk. We all saw her underwear and all I could think was of course she had to lift up her shirt and look.

So I saw a lady flash a monk this past week which was hilarious in itself. We meditated and this past weekend I went out to walking street with Hannah and an ex-monk from last year who I actually taught. That was very interesting in itself but I don't think I will explain that story until I come home.

So we are healthy and the boy in the hospital is much much better. Myself and a friend will stay with him overnight on Monday to give his mother a chance to rest and hopefully he'll be able to go home in March.
