Laos...

Last weekend, I was able to see Laos...sort of. I didn't actually get to step foot on Laos because my visa would expire and I can't let it expire until next month. But I did get to see the "other side" and eat some extremely delicious Lao snacks that one of my friend's bought from Laos. They were fried treat with pumpkin and other goodies in the center.

It was a good day but hot enough that I used an umbrella....very Thai style. The long boats are what take you to Laos. I can't promise that they're very sturdy but they get the job done as far as I can tell.
