Our Trip-and the monkey hotel

Well we have started our field trip. That means I have left my host family as well as Chiang mai. My host mom cried...I'm glad she loves me. If ever I come back I will stay with them. They have my room all sset for me. We have been visiting different areas in central Thailand and learning about the history of it all. The coolest thing has been seeing the ruins...they are absolutely amazing. But I would not want to bore you with the details of the differnt ancient periods so I will tell you about the moneky hotel.

So in Lopburi there is only one semi=decent hotel. However when you first view it, there is a giant gold monkey sitting outside the front gate like a statue. Tacky tosay the least. Then when you go in there is another giant grey monkey with a really scary face that just looks at you. In the rooms there are monkey lamps and tables with monkeys that have red butts and in the showers there are more monkeys. Go figure. The best part were those giant monkey statues. They were huge. Imean really big. So whensome of my friends looked out the hotel window, they had a giant monkey butt in their face. That was cool. For all of youwhohave seentheGoofy movie with Possum Park, it was like that with monkeys. They evenhad signs for monkeybeer.

I think the hotel was called Lopburi Inn resort I think. Check it out and decide whether you vote yes orno for the monkeys.
